In the book, "Night" by Elie Weisel, it seemed from watching the video that he had a rough time in the camp. When he got to the camp, Elie was separated from his mom and sister. I couldn't imagine the pain and sadness he was feeling at that moment because i would not be able to be separated from by mom and my sibling, it would just break my heart. When Elie got got to stay with his dad, it made me feel happy for him because at least he had someone with him. The "death march" made me feel bad for Elie because i knew he had a foot problem and that i didn't think he was going to make it. For Elie to make it out alive is a big accomplishment. A lot of people in those camps died of the chambers or because of starving. I'm glad he made it out alive after having his mom and sister get taken away from him and his dad dead. I don't think i could have done what Elie did and how brave he was after what had happened to him. In my eyes, he is a survivor and a hero.
